Grand Tourism Award

The Grand Tourism Award celebrates exceptional activities in the tourism industry, draws attention to attractive news and helps government as well as private-sector entities working in the industry to create promotional materials for new products. It helps information centres improve their services. The competition is organized by COT Media in partnership with Trade Fairs Brno (BVV). Since 2009, the announcement of the competition winner has formed part of the GO and REGIONTOUR fairs in Brno. The Grand Tourism Award is the successor of the Náš kraj (Our Region) competition, which formed part of the annual tourism fairs held at the Brno Exhibition Centre and Žofín Palace since 2002. The Grand Tourism Award consists of several categories, namely: Best single campaign; Best tourism product; Best travel agency; Best spa and wellness package; Best electronic project; and Best start-up of the year.
