COT – Celý o turismu

If you want only the best, this monthly periodical is the best specialist publication on tourism*. We have been publishing COT – Celý o turismu since 1997. Thanks to its content, it has become an indispensable source of information for owners and managers of many Czech businesses working in the various fields of tourism, as well as for representatives of towns and municipalities, destination management organisations, vocational schools and other institutions. Eleven times a year, all these people can read about the latest sector news, including trends, case studies, statistics, analyses, inspiring interviews and practical advice for everyday activities. Irrespective of whether readers specialise in outbound or inbound tourism, accommodation services, transportation, conference and banqueting or any other part of tourism, the pages of COT – Celý o turismu have something for everyone.

The magazine is distributed to subscribers only, but can usually also be found at most domestic conferences, seminars, fairs and other events focused on tourism. The magazine offers additional content in the form of an electronic newsletter sent out every 14 days to 4,000 subscribers. The printed magazine is also closely linked to the specialist website and Facebook page @cotcelyoturismu.

    I consider COT – Celý o turismu to be a rich source of information about tourism. For me, one of the most interesting sections is “Destination of the month” or “Trends and innovations”. The articles are really diverse. Every month, I find two to three articles that are very interesting. They expand my horizons and knowledge of tourism. I would recommend COT as compulsory reading for university students studying tourism.
